“Aura Shipping Ltd”.
The shipowner Aura was registered in 1912 in Turku (South-Western Finland) with the purpose of to transport cargo by ships equipped with motors or tails. Company was active between 1912 and 1923, but was bankrupted in the late 1920’s. It owned vessels MS Carradale and MS Fahrwohl. The latter one was a steel barque manufactured in Scotland in 1892.
Share capital of Aura in 1917 was 175 000 FIM, 700 shares x 250 FIM. The share of Aura was listed in the stock exchange of Turku.
